Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Mayawati Government failed to implement Central schemes

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra who has been campaigning in Amethi and Raebareli in Uttar Pradesh was seen for the first time in a public meeting, with her kids Raihan and Miraya at an election rally on Thursday in the midst of the state Assembly elections. She blamed the BSP Government for not implementing the Central schemes properly and also said that the money sent by the Centre is not reaching the people of U.P.
Highlighting the UPA Government’s policies Priyanka Gandhi informed “The Central Government introduced the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA after identifying the rights to job and in the similar manner we gave you the right to education realizing that it is the responsibility of the government to educate all children in the country. Similarly understanding the responsibility to ensure food to every poor, the Central government is now ready with the right to food legislation. All these schemes and policies were made after identifying the rights of the people.  Had the state Government implemented these polices of the Central Government effectively here, you would not have been so backward like we see at present”.
Exuding confidence in the people she said “So, how will change this situation? No leaders will do it for you. Leaders can only make you understand the situation, show the way and awake you. But only you can bring about changes.. If you wish to do, you can redefine politics too… You can reinvent a politics that based on service and development”.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra to the people of U.P: Fight for your rights through vote

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra while speaking at an election meeting at Ramganj in Amethi as part of her campaign for Congress said that the biggest strength of the people in a democracy is the right to vote.
Priyanka Gandhi said “In democracy the biggest strength is the right to vote. Your leaders come to you and tell that your vote is very valuable. Your vote is valuable not because someone becomes your leader with your votes, but because it protects your rights. You can fight for your rights through vote. If you won’t realize this that will help the negative politics you witnessed for the past 22 years to continue and the next five years also will be wasted. This will harm not only your future but also the future of your children.
Priyanka Gandhi added “You give power and strength to the leaders but it is natural for some of them that they forget the strength that helped them to come to power.. and they think that they have the entire strength... Who will make them remember this? Only you can teach the leaders that the power and strength are with the people and not with the leaders… If you do not awake and do not realize your strength, then there will not be any change or development.”
“I have been coming here for the past 22 years.. I witnessed governments of several political parties.. But when I see the children here I realize that they remain uneducated and there is no development.. Your state and your constituency are not going forward.. I go back but you have to stay here and tolerate all these.. But I have a question for you.. How long are you going to tolerate this?” Priyanka Gandhi asked.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also said “Should the politics be like this forcing you to tolerate?   Politics means service. The duty of a politician is to serve the people.. It is very easy for the politicians and political parties to forget this, because you don’t fulfill your responsibility properly.  If you don’t realize this and become more responsible, your rights will be suppressed like this… I hope you will remember my words when you go to vote on 15th…”
She has been campaigning in Amethi and Raebareli the constituencies of Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Sonia Gandhi respectively.
