Congress (I): Other parties have lost trust of people of UP

While making a scathing attack on parties like BJP, SP and BSP, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi has said these parties have lost their relevance in Uttar Pradesh for non-performance. The people tried these parties over the last two decades and have had bitter experience of their governments.  BJP played with emotions of the people and promoted its ideology rather than development of the state.  Samajwadi Party led by Mulalyam Singh Yadav promoted caste based politics and brought musclemen to rough up political dissenters.  But Mayawati government turned out to be worst.  It promoted corruption. It ministers and legislator misused official powers for personal gain and grabbed government and panchayat lands.  Rahul Gandhi highlighted that these parties are doing similar mischief at the Centre.  These parties are opposing the proposed land acquisition in the standing committee of Parliament. These parties give out slogans like “India Shining’ but do not work of ground to promote the welfare of poor people, said Rahul Gandhi.
