Rahul Gandhi in Hardoi talks about issues of farmers
A state cannot run on promises, said Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi while talking at an election rally in Hardoi. Rahul Gandhi lashed out at both SP and BSP in the state for the bad state of affairs in the state. None of these parties bothered about the people or development, he said.
Rahul Gandhi assured that a Congress Government will bring back the lost glory of the state and will definitely bring in positive changes. He sought support for Congress in the ongoing assembly elections in U.P. Rahul Gandhi also declared that he will not leave U.P till he ensures development in the state.
Rahul Gandhi who has been spearheading the Congress campaign in the poll bound state of Uttar Pradesh said that the UPA Government at the Centre realized the difficulties of the farmers in the country. When we went to the farmers, they told that the doors of the banks are closed for them and they suffer because of huge debts. We therefore designed a loan waive off policy for them, said the Congress General Secretary.
