Rahul Gandhi in Hardoi: Congress believes in action, not in promises
Striking an emotional chord with the people of Uttar Pradesh, Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said “U.P is my home. My family was living in Allahabad. Now I am fighting for my people in U.P, said Rahul Gandhi and the crowd acknowledged it with loud applauds. Rahul Gandhi said that the people of U.P do not want blind promises, but they want positive changes. The Congress General Secretary was addressing an election rally at Hardoi as part of his election campaign for the ongoing assembly polls in Uttar Pradesh. He exuded confidence among the people that his party Congress is going to form the next Government in the state.
Taking a dig at BJP Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi said that BJP coined the slogan “India Shining’ during 2004 parliament election without going to the people and realizing their difficulties. He has been campaigning for Congress for the assembly polls in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
