Lashing out at UP Chief Minister for indulging in caste based vote bank politics, Congress (I) has said it is Rahul Gandhi who has put aam admi and not caste, on focus in the state as an agenda for upcoming UP Assembly elections. Mayawati has been playing vicious caste based vote bank politics. Mulayam Singh Yadav also indulged in caste based vote bank politics, said Rahul Gandhi during his political campaign in the state. Caste based politics can neither do good for the state nor for the aam admi. “In last twenty years, the people of UP have seen only governments based on casteist lines. Only secular party like Congress (I) can provide a government which can work for aam admi without any discrimination. The day you elect a ‘government for all’, things will be normal and UP will be on a high growth trajectory,” he said. “You gave twenty two years to these parties, now give us five years and you will see the change,” promised Congress (I) General Secretary Rahul Gandhi.
